What is Lost City

We keep track of the city so you don't have to.

Festival crowd, hands up against the stage lights
Gallery-goers in front of spotlit paintings
The Plaza Theatre's neon marquee at night
Night crowd outside the Porter Beer Bar in Little Five Points

We read the whole city: theaters, galleries, breweries, parks, promoters, church basements. If somebody in this town is putting something on, we want it in here, not just the ten venues with a marketing budget — and we'll point you to a place worth going even on a night nothing's happening there.

Nobody can buy their way up the list, and nothing's sorted to keep you scrolling. A Tuesday open mic sits right next to the sold-out show, and you can tell the difference yourself.

It's not somewhere to spend your evening. Find one thing, close the tab, go. If we did this right you won't think about us again until next week.

What's next

Atlanta's open. Three more Lost City portals and a second city are on the way — we'd rather do a few properly than fifty badly.

Work with us

Two ways to be part of this.

Run a Lost City of your own.

A portal with your name on it: the same daily guide, filtered to your guests, your festival week, your few square miles. It works like a local who already knows what's on tonight, and it's yours to hand to people the moment they arrive.

Put your events where people look.

Post once and your listing shows up across Lost City and every portal built on it, hotel lobbies and festival guides included. Tell us what's wrong — a time, a photo, a cancelled night — and we fix it everywhere at once instead of you fixing it in nine different places.

We probably already list you. This is how you take the wheel: correct the details, add what our crawlers can't see, and see who's actually looking.
