The original Varsity was opened in 1928 by Frank Gordy with a $2000 nest egg. Through dedication to freshness, superior quality, advanced technology and serving the best food fast, the Varsity gained a reputation that is known worldwide. Serving hot dogs, burgers, chili, chicken, shakes and their famous Varsity Orange drink.
