About
It is our desire that God’s love reaches out through Helping Hands to serve those who have fallen through the cracks and assist with immediate needs while respecting individual dignity. We need your help in assisting those in need of food. Your role: Volunteers will load/unload food using a hand truck. Stock shelves, cooler and freezers. Sort, bag and box produce, bakery, meats and load cars. Assist the drivers in picking up donations. Clean the bathroom, waiting room, offices and Pantry. Load/unload donations w/hand trucks. Stock and organize Pantry. Sort/bag produce, meats, dairy, breads & nonfood items. Sweep, mop and clean entire Pantry. Organized by Helping Hands of Paulding County, Inc.. Tips: We will accept Community Service volunteers with TRAFFIC related offenses only (DUI, Reckless Driving, Speeding, Following Too Close, Distracted Driving etc.). Bring your court case documents and/or tickets for us to make copies. We will immediately return them to you. Please call (770) 443-1230 if you have any questions about acceptable traffic related offenses. Wear closed-toe/closed heel comfortable shoes and work clothing. (No Crocs).
