About
Join our efforts to fight food insecurity by helping us distribute food to our community. Your role: FFI Volunteers help clean, organize, and upkeep the food pantry - ie. sorting inventory, making distribution packets, handing out food to clients, etc. Fighting Food Insecurity Volunteers will help us clean, organize, and maintain the food pantry. Organized by Latin American Association. Tips: Thank you once again for generously offering your time and support for our volunteer activity. Your commitment is truly appreciated, and we're excited to have you with us.
As the event date approaches, we wanted to provide you with some important instructions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Please take a moment to review the following details:
**Date and Time:**
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time to allow for registration and instructions.
**Location:**
The volunteer opportunity takes place at the Latin American Association's Atlanta Outreach Center at 2750 Buford Hwy. NE, Atlanta, GA 30324. Be sure to check the map and plan your transportation accordingly. Please make sure that you are routed to Atlanta and not to Duluth. Several folks have ended up 30 minutes north of the LAA because of GPS errors.

**Parking:**
If you plan to drive, there should be plenty of parking available. Please consider carpooling if possible to help reduce our environmental impact.
**Attire:**
Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for the tasks involved in the activity. We will be moving around and carry and lifting a good bit.
