About
BTG provides food, clothing, & household goods to people who are struggling in our community. Our mission is to provide assistance to hungry, homeless, & hurting people. We achieve this in three ways: Feed, Serve, Restore. Your role: This volunteer will work in the warehouse to prepare food boxes for clients. They will help distribute the boxes to our clients by serving in a variety of roles: box loader, bread loader, bag loader, line director, or conveyor loader. The volunteer will work along side a BTG staff member in the warehouse to prepare and distribute food boxes for clients. Organized by BTG Community Outreach. Tips: Volunteers MUST wear close-toed shoes. Parking is at the City of Newnan parking lot at the corner of Spring Street and First Avenue or at the City of Newnan parking lot at the corner of Gilbert Street and First Avenue. Some of the rolls requires lifting up to 50lb if you are not able to do this please notify a BTG staff member. If you need to do community service, please come to our office with your charges and ID so we can approve it. Must be 16 to register or must be accompanied by an adult if under the age of 16.
