The participants have the opportunity to make an impact on people in the community who may not have the food they need to survive. Your role: On Wednesdays, the day we give away food, volunteers stock shelves, sort food, pack bags, and greet clients.
On Mondays, volunteers help unload the delivery truck, stock shelves, and need to be able to lift at least 50 lbs. The Community Marketplace gives free food to families to combat hunger. Volunteers help us prepare and distribute free groceries. Organized by Community Church Atlanta. Tips: Please see the director of the Food Pantry, Sybil O'Neal or Melvin Walker when you arrive.
