FB4K ATL is geared toward helping kids ride into a happier and healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need. We have given thousands of bikes to over 30 youth-serving organizations and multiple schools. Your role: Volunteers clean, prep and repair bikes while having a great experience at our warehouse. No experience necessary but if you know a little about bike repair (changing a tire, adjusting gears, etc.), you'll know enough to fix almost anything. FB4K ATL gives away hundreds of bikes every year to deserving kids. You'll clean, prep and repair bikes. No experience necessary. It'll be fun!. Organized by Free Bikes 4 Kidz Atlanta. Tips: 1. 2. You will be helping clean bikes to prepare them to be repaired. This will include watching a short video about how to clean a bike, selecting a bike and putting it on a bike stand, using the cleaning supplies that we provide to clean the bike, marking on the bike tag that the bike has been cleaned, and then moving the bike to the designated area for clean bikes.
3. You should dress comfortably for the weather (the warehouse is not climate-controlled), wear closed-toe shoes, and bring any water/snacks that you might need.
