About
BTG provides food, clothing, & household goods to people who are struggling in our community. Our mission is to provide assistance to hungry, homeless, & hurting people. Volunteers will be a part of restoring dignity to those who are in need. Your role: Volunteers will assist with loading/unloading food deliveries; with weighing, sorting, & storing food; preparing food boxes; & organizing and cleaning warehouse. Must be 16 to register or must be accompanied by an adult if under the age 16. Responsibilities include: loading/unloading food deliveries; weighing, sorting, & storing food; preparing food boxes; organizing & cleaning warehouse. Organized by BTG Community Outreach. Tips: Volunteers MUST wear close-toed shoes. Parking is at the City of Newnan parking lot at the corner of Spring Street and First Avenue or at the City of Newnan parking lot at the corner of Gilbert Street and First Avenue. If you need to do community service, please come to our office with your charges and ID so we can approve it. Must be 16 to register or must be accompanied by an adult if under the age of 16.
