Mapping Mondays: Preparing for GA's Redistricting Special Session

About
A special legislative session has been called on June 17 to begin redistricting in Georgia. States across the South are already moving as part of a broader wave to redraw their district lines for partisan gain. Redistricting isn't just about lines on a map. It's about whether your neighborhood—your community of interest—stays whole or gets split apart. The lines determine if your voice is heard through representation or gets silenced. The Supreme Court's recent Louisiana v. Callais decision weakened the Voting Rights Act protections that communities of color have relied on for fair representation for the last 60 years. Now, it's up to us to show up. That's why Fair Count is joining ProGeorgia and civic engagement organizations across the state to host Mapping Mondays—a series of online sessions to help our communities stay visible and organized. We'll cover the current landscape and exactly how you can make your voice heard. Join us every Monday through June 22.
