No one wants to face food insecurity. Our pantry provides a judgement-free space for people to visit, get food and other resources, and leave feeling good about themselves. Your role: Roles include all those that help keep the pantry running smoothly in the lobby area: lobby host, lobby assistant, new neighbor intake, friendly reception, interpreters (Spanish/English and Dari/English especially), and grocery floor guide. Our Grocery Store style food pantry offers variety, choice, and a dignified way for neighbors to access the food they need. Organized by NETWorks Cooperative Ministry. Tips: * Please arrive on time for your shift and plan to stay until your shift ends. * Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. * All new volunteers are required to complete paperwork, including a release of liability. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have parent/guardian sign the release. * Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
