Volunteering for this program aims to build a bridge of hope that encourages quality of life for families and individuals by providing grocery relief and commodity supplemental food boxes. Your role: Hand out forms to clients to complete Bring meat out from freezer for bagging Setting up tables and pallets to bag food up for clients Place food bags in vehicles Breakdown after serving and cleanup Must wear mask and gloves during the event Setup tables and pallets Bag items and place items in car Bring meat out from freezer for bagging (Must be able to consistently lift 20lbs) Cleanup. Organized by Peace on the Move. Tips: We still work if it's raining, so please check the weather and dress accordingly. All volunteers meet in the back of the building at the dock area. If you don't see anyone just knock on the door.
