About

Beginning weavers continue their studies and gain weaving independence in this studio class. Learn the possibilities of weaving two layers of fabric at once – tubes, separate layers, clcosed-in cushions, double width. and patterns with pick-up techniques. Class discussions, demonstrations, and woven samples help students learn terminology, reading patterns, and project planning. Weavers who can dress a loom independently may design a study or project with the help of the instructor. Weavers who have completed “Weaving Introduction Workshop” will be comfortable in this class. A beginner project will be available for brand new weavers. Supplies are included in the registration fee.
