About
Dinosaurs had varying diets, but most dinosaurs were actually herbivores because of how abundant plant life was millions of years ago. In this hands-on program, learn about the differences between herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores to see how dinosaurs ate. Attendees will play the role of a paleontologist, examining "candy corn teeth" and "marshmallow molars" to identify different species. Finally, we will use apples, peanut butter, and other treats to create (and eat!) our very own replica of a dinosaur’s mouth! NOTE: Our edible tooth models contain peanuts. Caregivers will be required to sign a waiver for attendees to participate in the hands-on portion of the program.
