Each weekly session held every Thursday from June 18th through July 30th for approximately one hour invites participants to explore prehistoric life, fossil formation, and the lasting scientific legacy of dinosaurs. Through interactive activities and guided discovery, students uncover how paleontologists piece together Earth's ancient past. The series is proudly led by UGA/Gwinnett County Extension 4-H Educators, in partnership with the library, bringing expert youth development and engaging STEM learning to the community. Week 7: What Caused the Extinction of Dinosaurs? The grand finale! Students will investigate the biggest mystery of all — what caused the extinction of dinosaurs? From asteroids to climate change, explorers will examine the evidence behind one of history’s greatest scientific debates.
