Students from the Burke Music Academy will present a Free concert entitled “GLORY: A Juneteenth Experience” on June 20th, 2026, at 12:00 PM at The National Center for Civil and Human Rights. This audience-immersive performance serves as a social commentary on how BIPOC music has historically shifted American and global pop culture. Burke Music Academy (BMA), based in Atlanta, GA, offers conservatory-level musical instruction in a modern way to students at all stages of development. Founded in 2020, BMA serves students of all ages through private lessons, educational outreach, workshops, and performance opportunities. Their curriculum-based instruction is structured to accommodate diverse learning styles, with visual aids, supplemental videos, online resources, check-ins between lessons, and practice guides. BMA fosters the whole artist from the earliest stages of development through advanced study. Their programs are innovatively designed to support virtual and in-person lessons, workshops, and performances.
