This is not a hike for a beginner. For this hike, we will accomplish -- Avg. Speed: 3.2 mph (Fast) - some say I go faster than that. Terrain: RUGGED; rugged creek banks and stepping stones with 18 creek crossings; bird area with wet grass and overgrowth Elevation Gain: 466 feet We will follow Mulberry Creek through a shaded forest and cross the Creek on stones 18 times If the creek happens to be high, we might even get our feet wet. Normally, the Creek hike is a "lariet" through the Hyde Farm County Park with the "noose" in Johnson Ferry North of the CRNRA.
