About
Webb Bridge Park is a 109 acre park on the eastern side of Alpharetta. The trails are mostly well maintained crushed gravel winding through wooded areas, with one paved sidewalk for a short distance. We will hike a 4.4 mile double loop in opposite directions for a different perspective. We will have about 400 feet of elevation gain, but none of the hills are extreme. The biggest hill, which we will do twice, is a paved sidewalk with about 75 feet of elevation gain. The pace will be a moderate one of about 2.5-2.6 mph. This will be a very good hike for beginners, nestled between going on a walk, and a D2 hike on unmaintained trails. This is a D1 hike on well maintained trails, so hiking shoes/boots and poles are not needed. Good walking or trail running shoes will be perfect. We will meet at the trailhead at the far end of the first parking lot after you go under the bridge on the entrance road at 9:50 for a hike description and introductions. There are restrooms at the trailhead. Please arrive earlier if you have a need for the restroom. The hike will start promptly at 10:00. Parking is free.
