About
On June 22, 1864, Union and Confederate forces engaged across a 600-acre farm owned by the Kolb Family. This battle preceded the all-out assault on the Kennesaw Line just five days later. This talk and short hike will detail the events of that pre-cursor to the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain. *This program will take place in the yard of the Kolb Farmhouse (tour stop 7 on the brochure) The farmhouse is located at the intersection of Powder Springs Rd. and Cheatham Hill Rd.
