This course is designed for students who consider themselves to be beyond the beginner phase of oils painting and provides an in-depth exploration of figure painting with oil paints, through direct observation of the human form. It aims to challenge and elevate your ability to represent the human body with accuracy, sensitivity, and creativity. You will engage with a live nude model in a series of structured sessions designed to develop both technical skills and a deeper understanding of human anatomy and proportion. Emphasis will be placed on capturing gesture, light, shadow, and color in a dynamic, expressive manner.
