The workshop will be led by Nikesha Holliday. She is a mission-driven leader, educator, and community engagement strategist with over 15 years of experience advancing equity through workforce development, education, and community-based programs. Her work focuses on bridging the gap between systems and the communities they serve by creating accessible, people-centered learning experiences. Nikesha specializes in financial literacy education, helping individuals and families build practical skills in budgeting, credit, saving, and long-term financial planning. She is known for her ability to break down complex financial concepts into clear, relatable strategies that participants can apply in their everyday lives. Throughout her career, she has led workshops, facilitated trainings, and partnered with community organizations, government agencies, and nonprofits to expand access to resources and opportunities. Her approach is engaging, supportive, and rooted in real-life application, creating a welcoming environment for learners of all backgrounds. As a minority woman and single mother, Nikesha brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work, allowing her to connect authentically with the communities she serves. Nikesha chose to focus on financial literacy to help communities understand the importance of building generational wealth and creating lasting legacies for future generations. (LaToya Mickel) has a varied background as an entrepreneur and mentor, driven by a passion for helping others. From business ownership to guiding teens and high schoolers, their focus has always been people. Now, I'm dedicated to empowering individuals through financial literacy, providing the tools needed to confidently manage life's financial challenges." Fairburn Branch hosts this free Fulton County Library event in Fairburn, with 6:00 PM-7:00 PM.
