On Monday, August 24, the Class of 2030 on the Atlanta campus will cross through the Emory Gate, marking the official start of their journey at Emory University. The Emory community is invited to help welcome our newest students by cheering them on as they process to the Quad, where they’ll take part in the beloved tradition of the Coke Toast. Event Details: • Please arrive by 10:00 a.m. to find a spot on the brick sidewalk between the Emory Gate and the Quad. Volunteers will be available to assist. • The student procession will begin shortlty after 10 a.m. • After the procession, the Emory community is invited to join the Coke Toast on the Quad. • The event will conclude by 10:45 a.m. • All Emory community members – faculty, staff, students, and alumni – are invited. Please join us for this special Emory tradition and help create a moment our students will never forget!
