Join U.S. Hands Off Cuba - ATL and other national UHOC comrades in-person for a discussion around the worsening conditions in Cuba under the unrelenting blockade by the United States government, the largest economic reform since the people's revolution and how we as socialists in the belly of the beast must organize NOW in order to remove the boot from the neck of the Cuban people. Panelists will also share about their May delegation to Cuba, where UHOC delegates delivered over $150,000 in medical aid and spent two-weeks learning from the Cuban people and their organizations in order to illustrate what is truly at stake with the continued attack on the Cuban people and their revolution: Brenda Lopez (Teamsters, UHOC steering committee L.A) Anna Capati (National Lawyers Guild) Mark Friedman (International Association of Machinists) Luke Badger and Hunter Richau (Amazon Teamsters, Logistics Workers League, ATL-DSA) This event will be used to raise funds for Global Health Partners, to deliver medical aid directly to the people of Cuba. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Location: Little Five Points Community Center- Shifalo Suite (1083 Austin Ave NE, Atlanta, GA) Time/Date: 7/2
