The Basics Storytime Series, presented by Cobb Collaborative , is a series of fun, interactive, simple workshops for you and your children to experience together. The Basics is a science-backed movement based on five child development principles that we will be covering over a five week period. Those principles are Maximize Love, Manage Stress, Talk, Sing and Point, Count, Group and Compare, Explore Through Movement and Play, and Read and Discuss Stories. Join us and experience new ways to connect and engage with your children, making everyday moments more meaningful, while also enjoying music, movement, and a story each week. This program is best suited for children ages 2-5. The Basics Storytime with Cobb Collaborative is a free Cobb County Public Library program at West Cobb Regional Library in Kennesaw. The session is designed for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and caregivers, with stories, songs, and early-literacy activities in a branch setting. The listed time is 11:30-12:00.
