Research consistently shows that early, responsive interactions around books are among the most powerful predictors of later language and literacy success. However, many parents feel pressure to read “correctly” -- following every word on the page -- and can miss the natural conversation that actually drives development. This workshop reframes reading as a joyful, flexible interaction rather than a performance. Parents leave feeling confident, not corrected. Recommended for parents and caregivers of children ages 0–3 years. Open to the first 10 participants. Sandy Springs Branch hosts this free Fulton County Library event in Sandy Springs, with 11:00 AM-11:45 AM.
