We will meet at the Overflow Parking Lot at 9:50 for introductions. We will walk over to the Visitor Center if anyone wants to make a restroom stop. We will follow the Environmental Loop until it meets the 24 Gun Trail. We will turn left onto the 24 Gun Trail following it until it dead ends at Gilbert Road. At this point we will turn around taking the 24 Gun Trail back to the Environmental Trail keeping to the left, we will not do the loop and return to the overflow parking lot. This event does not go up and down the mountain.
