INTERMEDIATE - ADVANCED POTTERY ON THE WHEEL/ Joanna Wilson Wednesdays from 12 - 3 PM September 16th - November 4th *NO CLASS 11/11 8 Weeks Class Fee: $305 Students will examine an array of wheel-thrown pottery techniques. The focus is on basic throwing skills as well as glazing, decorating, and firing. Pottery tools will be needed for class and can be purchased at Chastain. · 1 25# bag of clay is included in your registration. Your bag of clay will be required to pick up during your first-class meeting. There is a $5 additional fee if you select Coleman Porcelain as your first “free” bag · Students can purchase additional clay from Chastain at $27 per 25-pound bag. This cost covers glaze materials and firing expenses. Coleman Porcelain costs $32 per 25-pound bag. Any work made with additional purchased bags of clay will incur an additional firing and materials fee of $20 per bag.
