No one wants to face food insecurity. Our pantry provides a judgement-free space for people to visit, get food and other resources, and leave feeling good about themselves. If you have a group, contact stephanie@networkscoop.org before signing up!. Your role: Roles include all those that help keep the pantry running smoothly on the grocery floor and warehouse: personal care, checkout, dry goods restock, fridge and freezer restock, personal care/non-food restock, and incoming food manager. Our Grocery Store style food pantry offers variety, choice, and a dignified way for neighbors to access the food they need. Organized by NETWorks Cooperative Ministry. Tips: * You will notice that there are two shifts for each day. This volunteer opportunity is more labor intensive. If you would like to work the full day, please sign up for both shifts. * Please arrive on time for your shift and plan to stay until your shift ends. * Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. * All new volunteers are required to complete paperwork, including a release of liability. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have parent/guardian sign the release. * Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
