Your volunteer efforts will restore streambanks that filter polluted runoff, improve wildlife habitat, and stop trash before it reaches the creek. Together, we're protecting the South Fork of Peachtree Creek and the Chattahoochee watershed. Your role: Volunteers will cut and pull invasive plants, pick up trash, and help spread mulch. Pitch in at Confluence Park! Remove invasive plants, clean up litter, improve trails, and help create a more welcoming park. Organized by South Fork Conservancy. Tips: Bring a water bottle and wear closed-toed shoes. Long pants and long-sleeve shirts work well in these conditions to protect your skin, but anything you are comfortable in works best. We will provide gloves, cold water, snacks, and bug spray. If you can’t attend for the full length of time, please come to the beginning for orientation and training, then stay as long as you are able. Call/text 404-345-7830 if you can't find us.
