Internationally acclaimed trumpeter Dr. Ken Trimmins brings a rare combination of breathtaking virtuosity, soulful expression, and engaging stage presence to every performance. Equally at home in the worlds of jazz and classical music, Trimmins has performed for audiences around the globe—from major jazz festivals and symphony orchestras to television appearances, including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He is also a veteran of the United States Air Force Band, where he served as a musical ambassador, bandleader, and featured soloist. A Doctor of Musical Arts in Trumpet Performance, Dr. Trimmins is an accomplished educator as well as a performer, currently serving as a Professor of Music while continuing an active concert career.
