While everyone gets back on the bus we have a selection of stories about school for you this month with a few cinematic companions. Next up is "Rock 'n' Roll High School". Vince Lombardi High can't keep a principal in office without having a nervous breakdown thanks to the rebellious rocking students led by discipline problem #1 Riff Randell. Riff LOVES the Ramones but the latest principal has sabotaged her opportunity to meet Joey Ramone and present him with a song she's written. What else can she do but bring the Ramones to school instead? And it goes without saying that there's plenty of Ramones music in the movie along with many others. Just don't get too inspired and trash the library, PLEASE. Snacks and beverages and PIZZA permitted. Parental guidance suggested. Metropolitan Branch hosts this free Fulton County Library event in Atlanta, with 6:00 PM-7:30 PM.
