About

The Mayor’s Summer Reading Club (MSRC) is a program for children ages birth to five and their families that exists to promote literacy and work against the summer reading slump. Every year, they announce a city-wide book choice for infants (ages 0 to 3) and children (ages 3-5) and partner with organizations like Fulton County Library to distribute copies of the books to children and families at no cost. Summer 2026's book is "Dinosaur!" by Olivia Aston Bosworth, about a little boy who loves dinosaurs and sees them in everything! Both English and Spanish language copies are available and will be until we run out. Louise Watley Library at Southeast Atlanta hosts this free Fulton County Library event in Atlanta, with 10:00 AM-6:00 PM.
