Georgia Audubon field trips are free and open to the public, but registration is required so that we can manage the number of attendees. Click here to register for the trip! Location: George Pierce Park (Gwinnett County) Leaders: Liz Freeman, Terry Miller Contact, morning of trip: 678-372-7745 (Liz) Meeting Location: Follow the road all the way into the park until it dead ends into a parking lot next to a playground. We will gather at the start of the trail to the boardwalk. Parking is free and plentiful. GPS Coordinates: 34.061331, -84.045701 Trip Duration: 3 to 4 hours depending on group pace. Trail Distance: About 2.5 miles round trip. Path will be paved with some gentle slopes. Birding Focus of the Trip: All levels are welcome. Excellent for beginning birders. We will look for early fall migrant and local resident birds. There is a bathroom at the at our initial meeting location. There are no bathrooms along the trail. This is adult/general outdoor community inventory from Birds Georgia; it is not modeled as kids, storytime, or festival child programming.

Parking at GJAC The Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center parking deck is open to the public with direct access to the building from level P4. Visitors may park in the main public lot in front of the building on Langley Drive, the new parking deck behind the building at the corner of Constitution Boulevard and Nash Street, or in the overflow lot on Nash Street.
