Note: This course is open to students who have previously completed the Introduction to Blacksmithing class. Using traditional hand hammered blacksmithing techniques over a coal burning forge, students will forge a basic set of tools for the forge. Initial projects include a fire rake, slot punch, hammer eye drive, and blacksmith’s cross peen hammer. Additional projects will be offered as time permits.
