CASUAL HANDBUILDING FOR BEGINNERS & BEYOND / Stacey Shulman Mondays from 10AM - 1PM September 14th - November 9th *NO CLASS 9/21 8 Weeks Class Fee: $305 Let’s create utilitarian and decorative objects using basic handbuilding techniques and simple shapes in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Explore surface decoration and glazes to begin to develop your own signature style. Absolute beginners and those with more experience are most welcome. Supplies that can be purchased at Chastain: Basic pottery tool kit & fettling knife Supplies to bring to class: Plastic cutting mat, any stamps, bits of lace, or other items you might like to use texture · 1 25# bag of clay is included in your registration. Your bag of clay will be required to pick up during your first-class meeting. There is a $5 additional fee if you select Coleman Porcelain as your first “free” bag · Students can purchase additional clay from Chastain at $27 per 25-pound bag. This cost covers glaze materials and firing expenses
