GOUACHE WORKSHOP / Georgia Nagle Thursday - Friday from 10AM - 1PM December 3rd - 4th 2 Days Class Fee: $80 Gouache is usually described as an opaque watercolor. It is becoming a very popular medium for many reasons. For me, I like it for plein air work as there is very little involved in set up and take down, you can carry it with you in a sling bag or bag and just stop and paint about anywhere. And clean-up is a breeze. Just water! I took it on a 10-day trip though Alberta, Canada. It was fantastic! But also, if you don’t have a studio situation you can set up on the dining table. I paint in gouache in my studio as well. Gouache is very easy to use once you understand how it works. Broadly speaking, unlike with watercolor, you can make mistakes and fix them with gouache.
