Open in Johns Creek since 2019, the exterior of this coffee shop isn’t impressive, but stepping inside, you’re treated to a coffee bar that features a sculpted amethyst rock, a three-dimensional golden nugget on the back wall, and a mural spanning the entire side wall of the coffee shop. Notable items on the menu include specialty lattes (partnered with Cafe Campesino out of Americus, GA), Dutch coffee, and several options on the food menu, including waffles. Alchemist Trading Co. is a hidden gem in the Atlanta suburbs. A second Alchemist location called “Alchemist on the Divide” recently opened in downtown Duluth in February this year.
