A bronze sculpture in Woodruff Park depicting a woman being lifted skyward from flames by a phoenix. Commissioned in 1969 for the 100th anniversary of Rich's department store, designed and cast in Italy. Symbolizes Atlanta's rebirth after Sherman's March to the Sea. The city's seal features a phoenix for the same reason.
