This annual countywide reading initiative invites residents across Fulton County to read the same book and connect through shared stories and conversations. This year’s selection, The Last One at the Wedding, is a gripping suspense novel that will keep readers guessing until the very end. In the novel, a father attends the lavish wedding of his estranged daughter, hoping for reconciliation. Instead, the celebration slowly unravels unsettling secrets about the groom and the powerful family hosting the event. What begins as a joyful gathering becomes a tense weekend where long-buried truths come to light. The book discussion for Ponce Library will be on July 28, 2026 at 6PM. Jason Rekulak will appear at the Central Library for a live conversation about the novel, moderated by Karyn Greer, award-winning journalist and anchor for Channel 2 Action News from 11AM-2PM. Joan P. Garner Library at Ponce De Leon hosts this free Fulton County Library event in Atlanta, with 6:00 PM-7:00 PM.
