ATLANTA ROOM Porcelain Jerks spawned out of three high-schoolers love for music and their desire to make a mark. Now with only one of those three members left, the name has continued to be carried through two album cycles and various singles and LPs. These projects do not shy away from experimentation from track to track and provide a wide variety of sound palettes through indie rock and folk all the way to experimental drone. Now finding home in Athens, Georgia, Porcelain Jerks continues to innovate and reform their sound through engaging live performances with use of minimal instrumentation in contrast with looper pedals and backing tracks. The summer variety show tour has allowed for a wide display of sounds through many tracks off of the recently released Songs from the Ohio Turnpike. Arbre Day is a three piece alternative rock band based in Atlanta, Georgia. They found their unique style didn’t fit any genre so they created their own: Arb-Rock. Although there is an emphasis on rock, their synergy leads them to creating memorable instrumentals of all kinds ranging from folk to indie to punk. The band has music released on every platform including their newly released album, Of All, Evergreen. Arbre day is also known for having vibrant performances with impressive instrumental solos and backwards guitar playing. Kohoutek is an Acoustic rock project from Athens playing originals. A combination of 60’s rock and 80’s indie.
